Bike parks, pump tracks, learn to ride areas for kids to learn and have fun.

Facilities[edit]

Inner City / East[edit]

Centennial Park has a Learners Cycleway and bike hire.

Sydney Park Cycling Centre at Sydney Park near St Peters station has kids learn to ride tracks and paths through the park to explore the wetlands.

South[edit]

Sutherland Shire has a great pump track for kids, opened in February 2018.

West[edit]

Monster BMX/Skate Park is in Sydney Olympic Park.

North West[edit]

Parks in The Hills with Bike and Scooter paths compiled by Hills District Mums.

Programs[edit]

Free[edit]

Sydney Cycleways run Balance Bike Clinics for 3-8 years old. 11am to 3pm every Saturday at Sydney Park Cycling Centre.

School Programs[edit]

CARES Community Road Education Schemes (CARES) are run in different parts of Sydney for primary schools - some may allow public access outside school hours.

Educational Providers[edit]

BikeWise. Providing excellence in cycle training and consulting services to organisations and individuals. Located in Sydney Park and recently, Perth.

Addventageous. Addventageous is an AustCycle Provider delivering cycling programs for all, located in Parramatta.

Rideability Cycle Education. We are Australia's leading education provider for cycle education, road safety and bicycle skills. We deliver to schools, individuals, community groups, government & corporate organisations. Based in Sutherland.

Events[edit]

National Ride2School Day is an initiative of Bicycle Network and is held annually in late March.

Walk safely to school day is held annually in May.
